In addition, every essential oil Gisa is tested in accordance with strict quality protocol standards before being placed on the market: the Certified Purity Level Test (CPLT) examines and shows scientifically what is inside each essential oil Gisa.
Through the chemotype, we are also able to let you know what a plant though belonging to the same species and having the same outer appearance differs for chemical constituents. This is a very important concept in aromatherapy, because plants grown in soils and different environmental conditions can have significant variations that can affect their therapeutic qualities. Even the time of harvesting can affect the pharmacological characteristics. The thyme, for example, has more than eight chemotypes: if it grows at sea level in alkaline soil is rich in thymol, which makes it an effective but irritant antiseptic, unlike thyme containing geraniol and linalol, which is delicate on the skin much less effective; the chemiotype that combines delicacy and antiseptic effect is the one where the tyolite prevails. Membership of a plant to this or that chemotypic in some cases can make the difference between a beneficial essential oil and a toxic.

The risk of being found within a germ, heavy metal or various types of microbes can not only lead to essential oil being of the highest quality but may in any case cause adverse reactions and adverse effects to our person: for all this it does not happen, the CPLT quality test, through 3 product tests, confirms the total contamination:
The method of cultivation, harvesting and distillation are crucial steps to keep the purity in an essential oil.
The CPLT quality test on Gisa begins immediately after the distillation process; with each essential oil being reviewed by the microscope to evaluate its chemical composition, a second tranche of test is carried out directly at the production laboratory where it is ensured that each distilled essential oil is the same essential distillate oil; a third product review is carried out before the reference is placed on the market where the bottling process takes place: each bottle is tested and controlled to keep the product untouched.

● ORGANOLEPTIC TEST:
By this test, which involves the 4 human senses, view, smell, taste and touch. Distillers experts, using the 4 human senses as the first line of judgment on an oil, to immediately provide clues to the purity of an essential oil: any unusual odor, irregular consistency or strange color indicates something in the distillation process has failed. Often, this test is used as a preliminary step before any other in-depth analysis of the product.
● MICROBIOLOGICAL TEST:
Through this test, each essential oil is examined inside it for no mushrooms, bacteria, viruses and molds. Before a lot of essential oils can be released from quarantine to production, it must be tested for the presence of biological hazards such as bacteria, fungi and molds. In microbiological analysis, the samples are taken from each batch of essential oils and applied to substrates in plates or "plates." After an incubation period, each plate is analyzed for the growth of microbes. This test is performed on all input material at the plant and also performed on the finished product to ensure that no harmful organisms have been introduced into the product during the filling and labeling process and to ensure the stability of the shelf life.
● GASCROMATOGRAPHICAL ANALYSIS TEST:
After the aromatic components (also called essential oils) are carefully distilled from plant material, the samples are analyzed for chemical composition using gas chromatography. In gas chromatography, the volatile components of the essential oil are evaporated and passed through a long column called the gas chromatograph. Each single component travels or elutes through the column at a different speed and is measured at the output of the column during the analysis period. By gas chromatography, quality control engineers can determine which components are present in a sample of analyzes and, at the same level, what levels.
